I didn’t get my email
- Check spam, junk, and promotions. Search Party with Lulu and use the newest email.
- Check the address you entered and allow a minute before requesting another link. Sending is limited to prevent abuse.
- Links and invitation codes expire after 15 minutes and can be used once. Request a fresh email if needed.
- Open the link and press Continue. Email scanning alone does not sign you in.
- Suspended/revoked accounts cannot sign in. Sign-ups may be paused or full; contact support if needed.
Update my profile
Finish first and last name before creating a game. Use My profile to edit your name and default themes.
Changing your own email requires verifying the new address within 10 minutes. The old one stays until confirmation. Player/display theme defaults are separate from dashboard appearance.
The queue is empty or limited
Check selected categories, difficulty mix, question style, and answer mode. Multiple choice needs reviewed options. Narrow filters can run out of unused approved questions.
Add eligible questions, adjust available settings, or review/finalize the round. An empty queue never finalizes it automatically. Played questions stay marked to avoid repeats.
Correct a score or Nobody result
Award or remove current-question points while the round is open. Nobody got it reveals the answer and, after confirmation, clears only this question’s awards. Cancel changes nothing.
A fresh award corrects a mistaken Nobody result without restoring removed awards. Finalized rounds can’t be edited.
For tied team rounds choose a random or specific decider. An unanswered decider needs another question.
Remove or readmit a player
Open Players & scores and choose Remove from game. They lose access until you readmit them. Their points stay saved, but they earn no bonus for an unfinished team round while removed. If this leaves their team empty, it cannot win the round; you may need to move another player or cancel the round.
Readmit them from Removed players. Their saved points and original name stay with them. Their screen reconnects if the original session is still valid; otherwise they can rejoin with the current game code and PIN. Their open-round team does not come back automatically, and returning to a team during play counts as late (+1 winner bonus). If you clear a saved award for someone readmitted after that answer was revealed, they can’t receive a new point for that question.
Pause, finish, or start again
Use Pause game for a break and resume from Game control. Start the game shows the first question; later questions use next-question controls.
One host can have one active game. Finish rounds and end that game before creating another. Ending shows final scores and releases paired screens.
Mobile controls or display trouble
Use a current browser with JavaScript and cookies. If a phone shows a desktop-sized page, turn off Request desktop site in its browser menu and reload. Report persistent issues with the page address and phone/browser details.
Use the menu for Game control, Players & scores, Past games, and My profile. Link displays from Game control. Keep private answer previews on your phone; pair a separate display for the crowd.
